Dr. Ananda Bose IAS

It was a proud moment to hear the breaking news " Dr. Ananda Bose IAS, West Bengal Governor". My pride is that I was his Kuriakose Elias College mate in 1967-69. He was our college union chairman and a silver tongued orator.

The college magazine gave him the title, " silver tongued orator" beneath his photograph as a felicitation for him for being the prize winner in National Intercollegiate speech competition. Later , I got many opportunities to meet him in Trivandrum when he was Principal secretary to Chief Minister, Sri. K. Karunakaran. This was possible when leader was under my Physical therapy treatment in Sreechitra medical center, after his accident in Pallippuram. Later, I could again meet him in the occasion of publishing some of his famous books. I understand that he had always a hidden love for his K. E. College mates. I remember the loveable gift he had sent across to me when he was Chairman, National coconut development corporation, is a token of his love towards me.

I pray Almighty for his successful execution of his prestigious assignment.
